Operate Your Way, Earn Your Way: Introducing ‘Bobblehead Baseball VS’ by Andamiro and MLBPA
This creative blend of sports and amusement gaming offers non-ticket and ticket modes for bars and arcades — thoughtfully priced for street operators.
IRVING, TX–February 16, 2024– Andamiro USA Corp, a division of South Korea’s Andamiro Co. Ltd., is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest arcade sensation. Bobblehead Baseball VS, a dynamic video game licensed by MLB Players Inc., brings the excitement of America’s favorite pastime to tavern and arcade venues. Featuring quirky “bobbleheaded” likenesses of MLB’s biggest stars, Andamiro’s new game combines the thrill of the pitch with the strategy of the hit in head-to-head competition that players of all ages will love.
Designed with versatility in mind, Bobblehead Baseball VS possesses dual gameplay programming that allows operators to switch effortlessly between non-ticket (amusement only) and ticket redemption play modes. This flexibility makes it an invaluable asset for operators, allowing them to serve two distinct amusement business segments with one machine.
“Bobblehead Baseball VS is not just a game; it’s an experience,” said Andamiro USA president Drew Maniscalco. “By incorporating the iconic imagery of MLB stars with engaging play-by-play audio commentary, we’ve created a sensory immersion that captures the essence of baseball. But what truly sets Bobblehead VS apart is its unparalleled versatility, enabling operators to seamlessly adapt the game for either street play or redemption applications, maximizing their investment.”
Bobblehead Baseball VS boasts a compact design with a 43″ LCD display, dual player stations, and intuitive gameplay that alternates pitching and batting roles between players. It offers a variety of pitches and hitting options to simulate a real baseball experience. Whether it’s throwing fastballs, curves or changeups, or aiming for single, double, triple, or home run targets, players will feel the rush of a major league showdown. Mystery targets add an element of surprise, and it even has a “steal” play.
“With super-competitive pricing promising quicker ROI for street operators, Bobblehead Baseball VS is positioned to be a game-changer in the world of arcade gaming,” Maniscalco said. “Andamiro is proud to extend its partnership with MLB Players Inc. to bring to market this officially MLBPA-licensed product, providing tavern and arcade audiences with an entertaining way to engage with their favorite baseball stars.”
The new VS edition complements Andamiro’s original Bobblehead Baseball game, introduced in 2022. Still available and a go-to attraction for FEC operators, the original features a larger 55″ LCD and operates as ticket redemption game designed for solo play. Each version has its own gameplay style. In the original, the player bats and scores ticket points by hitting targets; a player wins the progressive super bonus when they spell G-R-A-N-D—S-L-A-M. The VS edition features similar target interaction, combining it with base-running visuals; one credit buys one VS inning (additional innings could be purchased), and players can select “single” mode (against game’s AI) or “versus” mode (head-to-head).
Bobblehead Baseball VS, with 21 major leaguers on its roster, is now shipping. Unpacked and on location, it measures 36” W. x 42” D. x 95” H. (about 78” without marquee) and weighs 320 lbs. (shipping weight is 353 lbs.). Sales information can be had from your local distributor or by emailing [email protected].
