Each version has its own gameplay style. In the original, the player bats and scores ticket points by hitting targets; a player wins the progressive super bonus when they spell G-R-A-N-D—S-L-A-M. The VS edition features similar target interaction, combining it with base-running visuals; one credit buys one VS inning (additional innings could be purchased), and players can select “single” mode (against game’s AI) or “versus” mode (head-to-head).
