The “Ghost Coaster,” developed by Rilix LLC and Andamiro USA, and licensed by Nickelodeon, is a downloadable upgrade that joins the Bubble Coaster’s original three rides, bringing a spooky new dimension to the hit VR attraction.

The Ghost Coaster episode takes riders on a ghostly high-seas adventure featuring the Flying Dutchman, one of SpongeBob SquarePants’ most memorable motifs. This nighttime-themed ride boasts glowing effects around the legendary Dutchman ship, creating an eerie yet family-friendly experience. Like the original episodes, Ghost Coaster incorporates interactive gameplay, allowing riders to use hand gestures to shoot at ghostly jellyfish. A hauntingly immersive soundtrack completes the experience, enhancing the thrill of the Flying Dutchman’s high-seas adventure.

Ghost Coaster upgrade price: $2,395

The 4-minute episode is available now as a downloadable software upgrade for existing Bubble Coasters, priced at $2,395 MSRP. To ensure a seamless upgrade, coasters must be connected to the internet, and operators are asked to provide unit serial numbers and contact information with their orders. And effectively immediately, new Bubble Coaster orders will include the Ghost Coaster episode, shipping with the three original rides, “Plankton Robot,” “Goo Lagoon” and “Krusty Krab.”
