GARDENA, Calif., September 29, 2020— Andamiro USA, a division of South Korea’s Andamiro Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of highly engineered amusement devices, is pleased to announce that the company’s Avengers redemption game is now available through authorized distributors. Avengers, a two-player arcade attraction developed in partnership with Disney, began hitting locations in August and will continue rolling out throughout the year and into 2021.

The highly anticipated arcade game, themed around Marvel’s most famous superheroes, features energetic electromechanical sequences guaranteed to produce reactions from players of all ages. Andamiro’s Avengers offers gamers a truly rich experience by combining the Infinity Stones storyline of the recent “Avengers” movies from Marvel Studios with the exciting rapid-fire, token-dropping sights and sounds of a contemporary coin pusher. It is the first arcade title developed under the Andamiro-Disney creative alliance formed in 2019.

Players shoot tokens at a moving target wheel to win tickets and other rewards, and to populate the pusher playfield. The main objective is to “push” the Infinity Stones, which also reside on the playfield, off the ledge. The Bonus Reel game, on each player side, is enabled when one stone is dropped; the central Super Bonus wheel game is activated when all six Infinity Stones are collected, lighting up the Gauntlet meter. Avengers gives players lots of ways to win tickets as tokens move forward, stones drop, reels wind and the big wheel spins.

“At its heart, Andamiro’s Avengers is game with a mission, allowing players to become their favorite Marvel character to save the universe,” said Drew Maniscalco, Andamiro USA president. “Our goal was to create a unique redemption experience, complimented by beautiful cabinet art that stands out. Our design and engineering teams in South Korea delivered the goods. Who else can do that on a coin-pusher platform?”

Marvel’s Avengers is one of the biggest superhero franchises of all time, so Andamiro couldn’t resist adding “card play” to its latest licensed game. The collectible card set comprises nine iconic Marvel characters appearing in the recent “Avengers” blockbuster films, and whose comic book fame goes back decades. The eight Avengers in the card series are Black Panther, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man and Thor, along with one supervillain, Thanos, who dons the coveted “rare card.” On the front of each card is the official comic book-style likeness of the Marvel characters; on the back are fun facts about them. Best of all, Andamiro’s collectible cards, which mingle on the playfield with the tokens and stones, are unique to arcades as they double as redemption currency: each card has a ticket value and players who collect all nine can trade them in for a big bonus (or keep them).

Notwithstanding the popularity of collectible redemption cards, not all locations want to handle them. With that in mind, Andamiro is offering its two-player Avengers game in a non-card version that provides the same thills as its card-stacked sibling. And not all locations can accommodate a two-player, 6-ft. wide deluxe game (and price tag), so Andamiro will offer Avengers in its first single-player 3-ft. wide pusher cabinet. Boasting the same ticket-awarding gizmos featured in the two-player deluxe unit, the one-player Avengers is also sold in a card and noncard version.

“With this format variety in the Avengers lineup, we’ve made it easy for any amusement operator to bring Andamiro’s heroic arcade experience to their customers,” Maniscalco said.

Avengers pricing information is available from authorized Andamiro distributors. The two-player cabinet measures 71” W. x 41” D. x 107” H. and weighs 992 lbs. (shipping weight is 1,100 lbs.); specifications of the one-player unit will be determined soon. Avengers is covered by Andamiro’s one-year and six-month warranties on electronics and moving parts, respectively.
