Andamiro to unveil 3 products in VR coaster, prize merchandising and basketball categories at Amusement Expo
If you’re attending this year’s Amusement Expo International, and looking for trending products to make your operation stand out this summer, come see what’s new and exciting at Andamiro USA’s exhibit. The U.S. division of South Korea’s Andamiro Co. Ltd. will be demonstrating several innovations for the first time in the VR coaster, prize merchandising and free-throw basketball categories.
Following a successful regional showing at the New Jersey Attractions Association’s exposition early March in Atlantic City, March, SpongeBob VR Bubble Coaster will be on display for the entire industry at Amusement Expo. The low-cost, unattended VR attraction was developed in partnership with VR entertainment experts Rilix. The Bubble Coaster features three immersive rides that take guests on scenic adventures through Bikini Bottom. Two demo units will be on hand in Andamiro’s booth.
Making its first public appearance is Andamiro’s novel tic-tac-toe basketball adaptation for arcades. One player can compete against the game’s computer, or two can go head to head. Players do their best to shoot a ball into one of the nine baskets arranged in the 3×3 tic-tac-toe grid. The first player to complete a horizontal, vertical or diagonal line of three Xs (or Os) wins the match. If no one wins, the game ends in a draw. Strategy and accuracy win the game!
Even better, Andamiro’s new basketball game will be marketed under the name “Tic SHAQ Toe,” themed to “Shaq’s Garage,” a new animated action-comedy series for kids starring NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal and streaming on Genius Brand International Inc.’s Kartoon Channel!” The program follows the secret adventures of O’Neal’s unusual collection of anthropomorphic cars, motorcycles and trucks known as the “Shaq Paq.” Andamiro and Genius Brands created stunning Shaq’s Garage graphics package for Tic SHAQ Toe Basketball. Everyone will XOXO Tic SHAG Toe!
The celebrated South Korean game-maker is also expected to unveil its next-generation prize merchandiser. Since 2009, Andamiro has led development in the prize vending segment with such devices as Winner’s Cube, I-Cube, Magic Shot, Prize Pod and Safe Cracker, along with the wildly popular Super Star. Hint: the company’s new merchandiser is inspired by one of these legacy lines.
Amusement Expo International, sponsored by the Amusement and Music Operators Association (AMOA) and American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) and produced by WT Glasgow Inc., takes place at the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center, March 27-30. The trade show is open on Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30, in Central Hall C3.
Andamiro USA, which was recently named Dave & Buster’s Supplier Partner of the Year, will be in booth A817. Also in the Andamiro booth will be Avengers Infinity Stone Challenge, Bobblehead Baseball, SpongeBob Pirates of Bikini Bottom and SpongeBob Ticket Coaster.
