Andamiro USA has identified an issue concerning the sale, distribution, and use of alleged imitation pusher coins that may compromise the performance and integrity of Andamiro amusement machines. These suspected coin reproductions fall short of Andamiro’s quality and compatibility standards. Consequently, the use of such unauthorized coins has been linked to operational problems and could lead to severe damage to machine components.

Layout 1The issue pertains to coins marketed as replacements for Andamiro’s Marvel Avengers pusher games, the SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade pusher and Bandai Namco’s DC Superheroes coin pushers (produced by Andamiro). It is critical that all machine models in these three lines use the authentic Andamiro token, which is identified by part number AZZZ0MED001 (previously part number MZZZ0000596). Be cautious, as imitation coins may be misrepresented under these part numbers.

To maintain the integrity of your machines and avoid potential damage to their essential coin handling systems, Andamiro strongly advises against the use of imitation coins.

Imitation coins are likely to increase frequency of coin jams in a device’s elevator hopper, causing damage to the assembly’s components. Imitation coins could also alter the pusher playfield coin flow, thereby changing payout. And imitation coins that do not match the tensile strength of genuine Andamiro coins are more likely to incur dents, bends, and splits.

Please inspect your coin inventory to ensure compliance. Genuine Andamiro pusher coins provided under part number AZZZ0MED001 adhere to the following attributes:

  • Material composition: brass
  • Coating: nickel-plated
  • Color: silver
  • Thickness: 1.75mm–1.8mm
  • Diameter: 24.75mm–24.85mm
  • Weight: 6.5g
  • Edge: smooth
  • Design & Marks: features ANDAMIRO logo and words “SINCE 1992” minted on the obverse and reverse sides. CAUTION: Recently identified imitation coins carried these same marks.
