VIP Event Opens Lucky Strike Social in Chicago’s Wrigleyville Hood; Pump It Up Gets Party Moving

CHICAGO, IL–MARCH 14, 2019–Described as the perfect intersection connecting bowling, chef cuisine and arcade gaming in one social setting, Lucky Strike Social at Wrigleyville is the fifth of its kind to open. A VIP launch party on the evening of March 14 officially opened the new venue in Chicago’s iconic neighborhood at 1027 W Addison St., where Andamiro’s Pump It Up music and dance game is among the main attractions.

The second-story facility boasts floor-to-ceiling windows that offer unobstructed views of Wrigley Field, as well as the legendary Addison St. and the Addison CTA Red Line station. Wrigleyville’s new action-entertainment destination for North Siders brings together chef-driven food and craft beverages, along with eight Lucky Strike Lanes and more than 100 electronic arcade video and redemption games. Its 30,000-plus square feet of social space also packs in two private party rooms, a redemption center and a sprawling industrial-style bar.

During the VIP event, some of Chicago’s best Pumpers spent the evening showing off their best dance moves on Andamiro’s celebrated game, and the Lucky Strike crowd loved it. Local Pumpers included Antoine Thompson, Rob Davis, Sean Kaczmarek and Paul Perryman, along with wife-and-husband duo Melissa and Ishmael Rufus, among others. Melissa is one of the nation’s best Pump It Up freestyle dancers.

Lucky Strike’s national games and redemption manager, Jim Bennington, was thrilled with the Wrigleyville party’s turnout and was especially pleased to have the Pumpers on hand. “They were all the buzz,” he said. Jim is focused on making Lucky Strike Social a destination for all Pump It Up fans.

Lucky Strike Social is one of four concepts operated by Los Angeles-based Lucky Strike Entertainment LLC. There are now five Lucky Strike Socials open, and more than 20 total Lucky Strike Entertainment concepts in operation nationwide.
