IAAPA Expo 2023, the premier global exhibition for the amusements and attractions industry, drew to a close on Nov. 17 after a weeklong extravaganza. Produced by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, the annual trade show welcomed 36,173 visitors and featured 1,147 exhibiting companies. Among the key players in the arcade space, Andamiro captivated massive crowds at Orlando, FL’s Orange County Convention Center.

At booth No. 1002, Andamiro showcased a spectrum of new products, offering IAAPA showgoers an exclusive preview of its latest innovations. From redemption games to cutting-edge merchandisers, video and sports games, VR experiences and dance simulations, Andamiro treated visitors to an array of immersive and exciting offerings.

Bobblehead Baseball VS

Street video and ticket redemption game builds upon the success of Andamiro’s original single-player video game. Bobblehead Baseball VS boasts a compact design with a 43″ LCD display, dual player stations and baserunning gameplay. Patrons can enjoy head-to-head action, playing as pitchers and batters in Major League showdowns, or go solo against the game’s computer opponent. This edition features onboard dual programming, easily settable by the operator on the game’s computer, for non-ticket or ticket redemption operation. This officially licensed product of MLB Players Inc. has been thoughtfully priced for street operators, promising to deliver quicker ROI.

Crazy Toy 31

Perfectly sized for any location and ideally priced for all equipment budgets, Andamiro’s first crane machine occupies a compact 31” W x 35” D. footprint. Crazy Toy 31 is available in two stylings: the “standard,” featuring a full-frontal LED wrapping along the corners, and the “clear,” offering transparent corners for the prize bin. New crane accommodates plush sizes ranging from 4” to 9” (up to 18 oz.). Solidly built using all-metal materials and tempered-safety glass, Crazy Toy is further enhanced with eye-catching LED illumination. Guardians of the Galaxy

Inspired by Marvel’s galactic misfit superheroes and built on Andamiro’s two-player Ticket Coaster platform, Guardians of the Galaxy is an entertaining gravity game for all ages. Players drop a ball (Power Stone) into the helix launcher, which in turn deposits the ball onto the lower straight track to complete the ride. There are nine GOG character cars with ticket values. When a player lights up all nine ticket values, they win the super bonus. GOG boasts great sound effects and graphics. It features 3D holographic fans on each player side.

Pump It Up Phoenix

Phoenix is the latest installment in Andamiro’s long-running Pump It Up (PIU) rhythm and dance video game. The new software adds expanded content and technical improvements to the iconic five-step dance simulation game for arcades. Phoenix’s all-new Premium Mode speaks to players looking for enhanced challenges. Only in Premium can players unlock six exclusive songs. The new game is rounded out by Full Mode for advanced and intermediate players, along with Basic Mode for beginners. Phoenix ships in Andamiro’s dedicated PIU LX-55 cabinet or as upgrade kit to compatible PIU cabinets.

Spider-Man Coin Pusher

New pusher’s captivating two-player cabinet with Spider-Man motifs instantly grabs attention, while the gameplay mechanics inside reveal a spectacular immersive experience. Players fire coins at targets, accumulating them on the platform to steadily “push” Spider-Man’s blue and red spheres over the ledge. New game plays with self-contained silver coins, small blue balls and large red balls. An auto-rotating coin-firing mechanism, emulating Spider-Man’s web-shooting superpower in his signature hand gesture, is central to the game’s allure. Triggered with a single shot, the mechanism propels three coins in rapid succession.

SpongeBob VR Bubble Coaster

Andamiro USA and Rilix LLC have teamed up to create the SpongeBob VR Bubble Coaster – an affordable unattended VR attraction. VR partakers can dive into Bikini Bottom with three exciting episodes featuring Nickelodeon’s beloved characters. Each ride is gamified, too, as guests use hand gestures to pop bubbles as they ride through Bikini Bottom. Built on the proven Rilix platform employing all-in-one headset technology, the Bubble Coaster ships in a vibrant pod that seats two guests and is equipped wind and shaker haptics. The Bubble Coaster, which began shipping in June, is poised for growth in the new year.

Making this clever package possible, Andamiro ingeniously adapts an age-old pencil-and-paper pastime into a free-throw basketball challenge. Tic SHAQ Toe Basketball is easy to play, family friendly and challenging for all ages. One person can play against the game’s computer, or two can compete as Xs or Os. Players do their best to shoot a ball into one of the nine baskets arranged in the 3×3 tic-tac-toe grid.
