Wacky Racer main imageIRVING, TX–March 14, 2024— New from Andamiro is Wacky Racer, which cleverly pairs coin-op’s traditional mallet game with a unique racing twist. A two-player redemption game that supports head-to-head competition or single-play against the unit’s computer, Andamiro’s new whacker is the latest addition in the company’s expanding Nickelodeon lineup.

SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star take their marks as players hammer away at the popping mechanical targets. Complementing the racing theme are seven poppers on each player side in the form racecar tires. Rising above the whacking platform, two vertical racetracks host SpongeBob and Patrick in their cars. When players hit the popping tire before it retracts, they simultaneously earn points and move their racecars closer to the finish line.

As players hammer away, the Nickelodeon characters descend along their respective tracks. Additional points are earned along the racetrack with 100 points going to a player with enough speed and skill to reach the finish line. Adding to the excitement, victorious players are celebrated with a gold victory cup that illuminates and pulsates in their honor.

Wacky Racer will officially roll out in late March at Amusement Expo in Las Vegas. Unpacked and on location, it measures 54” W. x 40” D. x 97” H. and boasts character, audio and lighting effects that will command an undeniable presence.
